There are events you attend and then there are moments you experience, where the presence of God is tangible, the atmosphere electric, and every soul united in joyful surrender. Praise Evening 2025 was one of those moments.

Themed “Praise the Lord, All You Nations” the evening brought together believers, churches, worship leaders, and gospel artists from across Oxfordshire for one purpose: to glorify God through radical, heartfelt, unhindered praise.

From the moment the doors opened, there was a deep sense of anticipation. The House of Grace Choir (HOG) welcomed everyone with a powerful opening worship set that didn’t just stir emotions  it stirred the spirit. The presence of God settled early, and it never lifted.

Our beloved pastor shared a brief exhortation, reminding us that praise is not just an act of joy, but a declaration of faith, warfare, and victory. It was the perfect spiritual launch pad for the evening.

Then began a beautiful procession of worship by various local assemblies. RCCG Light House Abingdon took the stage with a vibrant offering of praise that energised the room. They were followed by RCCG Light House Whitney, whose melodic harmony and spirit-filled ministration blessed many hearts.

And then, the atmosphere shifted.

Taking the stage with grace and authority, acclaimed worship leader Lou Fellingham ministered with sincerity and depth. Her first set of songs moved the congregation into deep worship. Eyes were closed, hands lifted, and many were visibly moved. It wasn’t a performance,  it was a divine exchange between God and His people.

Following her was the energetic and joy-filled Brother Ebube Nwabueze, who brought a fresh fire of celebratory praise. People danced freely, laughing with joy and praising like David — uninhibited and unashamed. Then came Sam Opeche, who skilfully led a powerful session of thanksgiving, which also served as our offering time. It was an act of worship in itself — giving cheerfully in the spirit of praise.

The evening continued with more soul-lifting ministrations. Word Fountain Christian Ministries carried the atmosphere deeper into heartfelt worship, ministering with grace and spiritual depth. They were followed by RCCG Christ’s Love Assembly (CLA), whose passionate delivery reignited the room with another powerful wave of praise.

As the evening drew to a close, the stage was once again graced by Lou Fellingham, whose second ministration was even more profound and intimate than the first. Her songs wrapped the night in a blanket of reverence, reflection, and sincere devotion. Worshippers stood, knelt, and lifted their voices — not out of routine, but from a place of deep connection with the Father.

To seal the night, Sam Opeche returned with a spontaneous yet spirit-led rendition of the song “Amen”. It was a fitting conclusion, one word, one sound, one voice;  echoing unity and agreement with all that had been declared and experienced. Every soul in the room joined in and as the chorus resounded, it felt as though heaven itself had said, “So shall it be.”
