With our lips, we speak, create friendships, build connections and even wage war. It is until one opens his/her lips that access into the content of the heart can be poured, our words are given access into the world by the lips. Words are also spiritual elements that don’t die, once there are spoken they travel to accomplish the purpose for which they have been sent.
In Hebrews 13:15, God describes the words from our lips as fruits. Fruits nourish, hydrate and give life. So, for every time we stand before God, our praises to him from our lips are liken to fruits, a perfect sacrifice.
Many times some people remember the weapon of praise when they are in dire need for God’s intervention but that’s not the life God wants us to live, He wants us to continually praise him in good and challenging times, in times when the night is darkest and when the morning is brightest. Sing God’s praise, talk about His goodness and the wonderful things He does. Offer the fruit of your lips, daily.
